About Eatonville Wild Game Feed

The Stover family started the wild game feed over 17 years ago as an annual event held at their house in Eatonville, Washington. Originally it was a small event for close friends and family to gather after hunting season, share their favorite wild game dishes, tell hunting stories, and show off their trophies. Over the years, attendance increased and it evolved into more of a fundraiser for locals in need. In 2018, the event was relocated to the Eatonville Eagles to accommodate more guests, a live and silent auction, live band, and horseshoe tournament. There is now a committee of approximately ten Eatonville locals who meet 1-2 times a month to plan the event, making it one of the largest fundraisers of it's kind in the area. 

The Eatonville Wild Game Feed has grown in popularity over the years and tends to bring in a different crowd each year depending on the beneficiary selected. We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) providing assistance to someone  in need. Each year we ask for nominations of people who could use a little extra financial help. Whether it be a tragic event, cancer diagnosis, or just someone down on their luck. The Board meets and votes on that year's recipient. We have had years with sole recipients as well as years with 2 recipients. Our goal each year is to offer a little cushion for someone who may be struggling. We have heard from past recipients that this financial assistance has offered help even years down the road. 

The Eatonville Wild Game Feed keeps 10% of the proceeds for operating the organization. This money helps pay for our annual fees as well as supplies for the event. The Board will review the account balances annually and revise the amount we need to 

operate as necessary. 

The event will take place annually on the 3rd Saturday in May. This year the date is May 18, 2024.
